Wedding planning tools are usually “free” because you're not the customer — vendors are. The big platforms sell your attention: vendors pay them for rankings, featured spots, and your contact information. That's why their recommendations feel like ads. They are.
We built Eydn differently, and we think you deserve to know exactly how the money works.
Couples can pay us for Eydn Pro.The core of Eydn is free for as long as you're planning — your guest list, budget, timeline, wedding website, all of it. Pro adds the heavy machinery: an assistant that does real work for you, your day-of binder, the tools for the final stretch. One price, no games. Why we charge for Pro.
Vendors can pay us — but only for an introduction you start. When you decide to contact a photographer or a florist through Eydn, that vendor may pay us for the introduction. Not before. Not for showing up higher in your search. Not for a “featured” badge. Not for the assistant's recommendation. There is no way — at any price — for a vendor to buy their way in front of you. Vendors can also pay for tools that help them respond to couples well. That's the entire list.
What we will never sell: you. Your guest list, your budget, your plans, and your contact details are yours. No vendor sees your information until you choose to reach out, and what they receive is what you approve before sending.
